AMPER COLLECTS DATA IN SEVERAL WAYS.
This flexibility allows you to connect your entire range of assets—whether it’s machines, people, or processes—to one platform.
The type, age, or usage frequency doesn’t matter. Amper has you covered. Completely.
The non-invasive sensor can connect to any machine’s power supply. It'll translate the machine’s electrical heartbeat into real-time utilization data.
The aggregator connects to a machine’s 24V power. It can track utilization and read on/off control signals to track cycles and industrial sensors.
If you have newer machines, you can also connect to PLC control protocols. This enables seamless data flows, more detailed data collection, and a faster go-live process.
Amper’s hardware may not be the best option for certain cases (e.g. manual processes or rarely used machines). These will instead be "linked assets." Amper will digitize data collection to track labor time, part counts, and more.
Layering machine data and people data allows for even better production insights.
